A line of angels for Shraga and Chava

Shraga and Chava, a couple of Holocaust survivors, have been with our association since its first day. After several months of regular meetings together with Yali, their volunteer, Shraga picks up the bell and asks to meet at his apartment.

At the meeting, Shraga and Chava ask for our help in renovating the apartment. No more easy fixes or small problem solutions.

Until that day, we had not done anything similar to this, after all, who would agree to give so much of their private time as a volunteer?

We were looking for candles and suddenly Eran Bogetz arrived.

Eran arranges to meet the couple, set a date and start work, as soon as possible.

The first question that comes up - how can we get financing for such a large renovation? This is where the real beauty begins.

A series of angelic professionals devote their hearts to the project and put the improvement of their home - at the top of the list of priorities.

And so it was: demolition and reconstruction of toilets and showers accessible to the disabled, a new kitchen including marble, flooring, paint, widening of doors for wheelchair access and many more.

Over 60,000 shekels were saved in this renovation, thanks to an amazing group of special people.
